Graham Lyon Beard

Our third son, Graham Lyon Beard, was born on 8/8/08. He is soooo cute! He has lots of hair and he has the most darling dimples. Keith blessed him today, but unfortunately we didn't take any pictures. Which is only fair to our other two boys, since we forgot to take pictures of them on their blessing days as well (yes, we suck!).

Jonas loves to hold his new little brother;

Liam loves to poke him in the face.

I can't believe I am the mother of three boys. I guess that means I will have to learn to appreciate bathroom humor, pretend to be excited about heavy machinery, and learn the names of all the trains on the Island of Sodor. And at some point I may actually have to learn the rules of baseball, soccer, and basketball. Ugh. But my little boys are so cute I would be willing to do pretty much anything to make them happy.

First Blog

It has been an eventful month. Keith's mother moved here from Rhode Island, and he was gone all last week driving her here in a large moving van. I learned what it was like to be a single parent, and I have soooo much more respect for people who have to raise kids on their own. I must say I would be a terrible mother if I were single. By the end of the week, I was ready to slit my wrists (okay, so maybe I wouldn't be a terrible mother, I would be a dead mother). Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my little boys. They are so cute and sweet and funny. But being 8 months pregnant and taking care of two energetic little boys 24-7 for a week was pretty insane.

On a more positive note, Jonas is potty trained! We bribed him with a new bike, and it only took him a week to be a pro at using the toilet.

Liam turned 2 on 6/19/08, and we had a fun B-day party for him. He had a hard time opening his presents though, only because he was having more fun throwing them across the room than discovering what was beneath the wrapping paper. When we finally tried to make him tear off the wrapping paper, he got really mad, so we just let him keep throwing the present around until he got tired of it. He really likes to throw things.
